Getting to Todmorden Folk Festival

Todmorden is serviced by regular trains from Manchester, Leeds and Blackburn.

Buses run regularly from Halifax, Rochdale, Burnley and Rawtenstall to Todmorden.

A good address to punch into your Sat Nav is Todmorden Town Hall, Bridge Street, Todmorden OL14 5AQ. That’ll definitely get you here.

Accommodation

Todmorden Cricket Club offers camping and hard standing.

Tent pitches are available via our box-office.  you can book a pitch for your own tent, or with a tent that we can put up for you.

The Hare and Hounds pub offers hard standing for campers and caravans.

There are now a few Airbnb accommodations available in town.

Or you could try Lindores B and BThe Queen Hotel or Two Hoots Guesthouse.

Todmorden Folk Festival is supported by a number of local cafes and restaurants, where pop-up music can also be found.

The Golden Lion Todmorden’s no-so-hidden-gem. Where else can you get great thai food, live music, a massive selection of ales, a game of pool and a canal side view of clog dancers?

Site Pizzeria– Site Pizzeria is a contemporary restaurant and bar in the heart of Todmorden, serving fresh wood-fired, hand-made pizza, cocktails, craft beers and great wines.

The Bare Arts– Barearts Brewery and it’s beer shop claims to be the only licensed nude art gallery in Todmorden. Barents brews over 20 different varieties of triple dropped, bottle conditioned beers, including traditional bitters, pale ales, fruit beers, stouts and barley wines.

The Little Bird Cafe is A lovely local café where you can watch the world go by and get a darn good breakfast to line your tummy before all that clogging.

Three Wise Monkey’s (Hanuman Thai)- Based on the corner of Water St and Dale St, the 3 Wise Monkeys is a unique, community-focused bar that prides itself on its intimate and friendly atmosphere. Upstairs, Darakorn Thai Restaurant provides the very best in authentic, funky cuisine from all regions of Thailand. Fantastic for nocturnal shenanigans…

Coffee 22– if it’s decadent cakes you’re after, Coffee 22 is the place to head. Right on the main Halifax Road (number 22 in fact) Coffee 22 is in the heart of the action and will host one of early saturday pop-up slots, so you can get a great breakfast or brunch and listen to live music.
